We look back on a successful 14th GDHP Summit, held from 22 to 24 January in The Hague! Many thanks to all speakers, Work Stream co-Chairs, and participants for making this Summit a success!
We look forward to the continuation of the partnership in 2025 and future Summits, on which more will be announced soon!

Summit Program
Day 1 started with a morning programme to set the scene: following a welcome from the Dutch Chair and host, the Work Stream co-Chairs introduced the work from the 5 GDHP Work Streams. There were many outputs to be celebrated, visit our website to find out more! In the afternoon, the members visited the Amsterdam Skills Centre (ASC), where we discussed the shared challenge of the growing shortage of healthcare professionals. During the immersive visit, an innovative approach to education, development, well-being and resilience of health professionals came to life (DUTCH & KEEPCARING project).
Day 2 started with an opening keynote on another shared challenge, that of #digitalhealth on small island states, such as the Dutch Caribbean, shared by Judith Meijer. The rest of the day was filled with interactive Work Stream meetings, in which members collaborated within and across work streams. In the evening, the group was joined by Dutch stakeholders for further networking.
Day 3 started with the Steering Committee meeting. After this, several members shared national updates, which sparked discussion and mutual learning that will be continued throughout the work of the GDHP. Two panel discussions, on cross-work stream collaboration and IPS global and regional use cases, marked the end of the 3-day Summit.
